WEH® Connector TW59

The WEH® TW59 filling connector has been specially developed for filling of gas cylinders with propane and butane. It conforms to the most demanding requirements for operational safety, economy, ease of use and flexibility.

The quick connector provides an intrinsically safe connection. A safety storage chamber for compressed air is not necessary, as the connection itself is created purely mechanically.

For easy and convenient operation a pneumatic system is used for connecting the internal sealing piston. After the connection has been established, this piston presses against the sealing surface to provide the best possible seal. Where necessary, a second pneumatic connection does the work of a control line. With its help you can query the current operational status of the device (open or closed) – for automated cylinder feed-out systems, for example.

A shut-off valve integrated into the device prevents gas escapes during connection and disconnection. Aside from the environment benefits of this, it also helps keep your workplace clean and safe.
