WEH® Connector TW53
The WEH® TW53 filling connector is part of a new generation of connection systems for industrial filling of acetylene and acetone for valves conforming to DIN 477 Part 1 No. 3. With it, there is now absolutely no need to screw conventional yoke connection.
Operating the device is quite simple: The TW53 for acetylene filling is operated just like a conventional clamping yoke. Simply place the connector around the cylinder valve, pull the actuation lever downwards and the pressure-tight connection is etablished in seconds. An optional swivel joint at the media inlet also simplifies handling.
A shut-off valve integrated into the device prevents gas escapes during connection and disconnection. Aside from the environment benefits of this, it also helps keep your workplace clean and safe.
The optional check valve on the media inlet prevents gas leaks where there is any damage to the filling hose (flame arrester). This provide additional safety to the operator.

The quick connector has been BAM tested and certified to conform to the rules for acetylene systems (TRAC).
