50 years of WEH - 50 years of family history

At the anniversary celebration for employees with their families and friends, the company founders, Erwin and Karolina Weh, took center stage.
In a conversation on stage in the festival tent with host Axel Gagstätter (public broadcasting corporation SWR, among others), the two of them delved once again into 50 years of history and allowed the audience to participate in it: the founding, the ups and downs, and the success of the company. An emotional journey through time for the two 84-year-olds. For the audience, entertaining anecdotes from history: instructive and with a few "aha" moments.

The casual summer party attracted not only employees but also their families and friends to the company premises. Personal acquaintances and business partners also came to the party.

Managing Director and owner, Wolfgang Weh, was pleased about the great reception of the party: "50 years of company history. You can only achieve such a thing by working together. For us as a family, the team concept was and is particularly important."

There was a lot going on on the factory grounds: from attractions for children, such as a bouncy castle, clown, balloon artist and face painting, to a photo box and a wheel of fortune. Various food trucks provided guests with tasty treats - from Swabian cuisine and burgers to Indian curries and tarte flambée. A special highlight in the evening was the show cooking on the company's own smoker.

After welcoming remarks and talks, the 11-piece party band "Die Dorfheilige" kicked off in the party tent. The dance floor was well filled when DJ Jannik Müller took over the entertainment.

50 years of WEH were celebrated until late into the night. We are proud of so much history.
