The Quick Connector type FI of the FasTest Series reliably and quickly seals inside bores, irregular or rough holes and internally threaded components. Compressed air is used to activate the elastomeric seal to make fast, leak free seals for vacuum and pressure testing with air, gases or liquids. Revolutionary new sealing principle uses air pressure to activate a full circumferential seal. Seals tube size variations to 2 mm, uneven ends, threads, hose barbs and rough surfaces.

Because of the pneumatic actuation, the quick connect coupling FI is particularly well suited for automation of test procedures. The type FI possesses excellent leak-tightness functions, however, it only clamps itself firmly, by means of sealing rubber to the test piece. Therefore a fixturing arrangement is required. The connection, established instantly, makes it possible to test each component for operability, during the production run.
